The Cerasifera plum cultivar, also called Mirabolano or Marusticano or Rusticano, is mainly used as a rootstock plant for some cultivated Prunus species.

 

The fruits, yellow or red, are round drupes with a diameter of 2–3 cm, very tart if unripe, but sweet when ripe.
