The Raspberry berry cultivar is a shrubby, almost drooping species. It has perennial roots and biennial vegetation: in spring the suckers covered with many small thorns come out of the ground; at the end of the season they lignify and at the beginning of the following spring they emit fruiting shoots.

The dark green leaves are deciduous with a serrated edge and evident veins.

The white flowers are very small and flowering goes from the second decade of May to the second of June.
